Oxy Fuel Cutting

Ceramic Lined Air Swept Fuel Chute

We offer both oxy-fuel welding and cutting as part of our services to clients. With oxy-fuel cutting, we use a torch to raise the edge of the steel that is going to be cut to around 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. We then direct a high pressure stream of pure oxygen at the heated region of the metal. This creates a cavity through means of oxidation. In other words, it's a rapid means of rusting metal with high precision. There are a number of benefits to using this technique to cut metals that can be oxidized in this way. It's possible to easily remove the little slag which is produced and to produce clean, smooth lines.

The main benefit for you as the client (aside from high-quality work) is that you get to save costs. It's quick and easy to get set up for oxy-fuel cutting, and it's an economical route when the type of metal you're using allows for it. This means that we can cut your production costs down and you can still enjoy superior excellence in the results.
